He moved to Canada. Was born in Moldavia and has Roma origins. Accordion (actually an Italian instrument, but its earlier origins are from Asia) is his passion to revive Tsigani music from Eastern Europe.

This is typically Tsigani styled music with quick tempo but melancholic vs joyful atmosphere interwined. It had enormous influence on European folk music, from Germany, Austria to Poland and even Scandinavia.
